Our journey to desert Agafay and atlas mountains will start from Marrakech around 9:00 AM, once our team picks up of you or meeting at the nearest point to your accommodation in Marrakech. then drive toward the south of Marrakech taking direction to the desert Agafay. Once you arrive at Agafay desert there you’ll found our team waiting for you. we welcome you by a cup of mint tea inside of Berber tent. after a short break is a time to wear some traditional clothes like a Sahara scarf, that to look like local, then jump on the back of your camel take some amazing photos, before of the caravan of the camel start you allowed all the time to takes photos and our team will help you all the time. after the camel ride tour in the desert, Agafay is done go back on your 4×4. continue the trip toward pass via Lala Takerkoust lake then to KiK plateau. Once they arrive at Asni berber village ( the rural community) you will have a chance to visit a weekly Berber market that if your booking is made on Saturday before you continue to Imlil valley. I think We couldn’t ask for a better one-day trip to Desert agafay than this. Our driver Lahsen was very polite and we had a very pleasant chat throughout the trip. Same goes for our guide Ismail who showed us some amazing views of Imlil valley, Toubkal mountain and everything around, (also took some really good photos for us). We had an amazing rooftop lunch with beautiful scenery. The best part of the trip was that never for a single moment we felt that we are being rushed. They stopped where we stopped and they resumed walking when we did. I definitely recommend this day trip for everyone who visit Marrakech. (Attached pictures of Lahsen and Ismail

The camel ride in desert agafay was not as long as expected(30min) but it was funny experience. It was a trial within a designated area. Nonetheless, the experience of dressing up as a local native and riding on the camel, followed by local refreshment was noteworthy. The other parts of the excursion was awesome, especially the goat tree - need to see to believe

This Agafay desert day trip was a great experience. We started by driving through beautiful landscapes of the Atlas mountain where Husain, our guide, took us to the best spots for amazing pictures. We then continued driving while listening to Berbere music and stopped for a tea and to visit an argan oil co-operative, walked through several berber villages and had lunch in a traditional Berber, Imlil, a village where Husain is from. Finally, we arrived at the Agafay desert where we went for a camel ride. The day was much better than we expected. Husain was an amazing guide, he gave a us a lot of explanations while visiting the different places. He day felt very relaxed, we left at 9 and came back around 7 and had all the time we wanted for pictures, lunch etc… Thank you Husain for making this day full of memories.
